We have been giving discounts on our testing charges to our members ranging from 5%, 15% and 25% during the first, second and third year of their membership respectively and they continue to get 25% discount on test tariff as long as they continue the membership of ERDA. If the membership commences from 1^st of October in any year the discount of 5% offered will be for the balance period of that year and for the whole of next year if he continues his membership. In addition to this we have offered 5% additional discount if the member happens to be a registered SSI and produces the relevant certificate along with the request for testing or at the time of delivery of samples. Further if a member pays a total test fees to ERDA in one year (1^st April to 31^st March) of amount Rs.10 lakhs to 20 lakhs he will be entitled to an extra discount of 2.5% over and above his entitled discounts mentioned above and this extra discount of 2.5% will be paid at the end of the year or adjusted in his last payment during the year.
